No One Stays Behind (NSB) Erasmus+ project partners had the opportunity to meet and exchange opinions and ideas at the 3rd Learning, Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) Erasmus+ meeting of the project, that was organized by the Antalya Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, from 13th to 17th May.
During this very interesting week, the NSB partners participated in numerous activities related to the development of the project, Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) workshops and the courses offered at Antalya Vocational and Technical High School. Meanwhile, they gained insight into the Turkish culture, tradition and cuisine. Indicatively, the partners were guided around the school premises and the school departments in order to observe the various courses offered at the school, engage in STEAM workshop activities (3D printer program application) and interact with the students. In particular, a number of students took part in the workshops so as to share their personal experience regarding the Mentoring services that have already been implemented at their school and illustrate how this process has enabled them to progress.
What is more, as far as the project results are concerned, the members of the Turkish NSB team made a thorough presentation of Project Result (PR) 4, i.e. the NSB Evaluation Platform (available at vetforall.org.tr) which, among others, includes questionnaires that students and teachers can should answer when they implement the project results. This will allow them to assess the effectiveness of the project as the questionnaires will be administered both at the initial and final stage of the results’ usage.
Similarly, further clarifications were made with regard to the native language tests that will be accessible on PR1, i.e., the NSB Aapplication for IOS and Android.
The partners also attended a seminar on the subject of Erasmus+ Vocational Education Accreditation, which was held at the Provincial Directory of National Education. Notably, the seminar was presented by one of the NSB members, Susana Nogueira, who is a representative of the EfVET NSB partners organisation.
Some of the highlights of the week were the visits to places of historical importance and breathtaking natural beauty. For instance, the NSB partners visited the Old City of Antalya, where they witnessed artefacts related to the Turkish culture and tradition, as well as the Antalya Museum and the Ancient City of Phaselis, where ruins, statues and artefacts that dated back to the Roman and Hellenistic periods are exhibited. In terms of the marvelous natural landscapes in Antalya, the partners had the chance to admire the Duden Waterfalls both by land and by sea!
As the NSB project is gradually moving towards its completion, the LTTA meeting in Antalya was a great occasion for the partners to discuss several matters that concern the project in person as well as mingle and create stronger bonds. The members of the Turkish NSB team undoubtedly went above and beyond to ensure that the rest of the partners felt welcomed and were offered a warm hospitality.
